It is the mission of DRIM to support the full end-to-end task of evaluating stakeholder requirements from RFQs or tenders including standards and norms throughout their lifecycle. The DRIM software is a platform combining a large set of functionalities, many of them based on novel deep AI technology, which are all dedicated to the use case of evaluating stakeholder requirements end-to-end. The major building blocks are:

  • Uploading requirements in a wide range of formats including pdf documents or ReqIF.
  • AI based risk analysis and requirements evaluation. The DRIM AI automatically reads all Requirement Objects and analyzes risk, scope and possible solutions. It continuously learns from the experts and makes re-use of the company expert knowledge. It can be seen as an assistant which runs a full RFQ or tender evaluation as preparation for the human experts.
  • RFQ or tender revision updates including document comparison and relocation of requirements objects from old version to new version.
  • Workflows to systematically manage the evaluation of requirements over all phases of the lifecycle from bid go/no-go over bid approval into project execution.

DRIM Functionalities

Process a wide range of input formats

  • RFQs or tenders are exchanged in multiple formats and mainly as pdf documents, MS Office documents or in structured formats like ReqIF or DOORS modules.
  • DRIM allows to upload requirements from most of the formats.

Document Auto-Segmentation

Requirements in documents cannot be managed because they are in an unstructured form.

  • The DRIM ‘Document Auto-Segmentation’ automatically segments PDF documents or MS-Office documents into requirements objects (ROBs), which can be systematically managed.
  • Connected to ALM, PLM or in general requirements lifecycle management systems, requirements can be imported directly from e.g. PDF documents into the ALM, PLM, RLM systems.

DRIM Tender Compare

  • The DRIM AI allows to inherit full RFQ or tender evaluations from very similar historic projects.
  • Especially among projects from the same customer, a lot of knowledge can be re-used and reference knowledge is seamlessly built up.

DRIM AI Semantic Similarity

  • Each Requirement Object is semantically linked to its cluster of similar requirements in the system.
  • A user can navigate to all similar requirements and look up who was the responsible expert or how it was solved.

DRIM AI Risk Management

The DRIM AI automatically analyzes the risk of each Requirement Object (ROB).

  • Immediately after uploading new RFQs or tenders a risk profile is calculated.
  • With the DRIM risk management workflows the risk is systematically managed throughout the evaluation process.

DRIM AI Department Assignment

The DRIM AI analyzes all Requirements Objects (ROBs) for their domains.

  • Based on the single or multiple domains responsibilities are assigned to the related departments.

DRIM AI Topic Recognition

The DRIM AI analyzes all Requirements Objects (ROBs) for their specific topics insides.

  • A user can easily cluster all Requirements Objects within an RFQ or tender across all documents.

DRIM AI Auto Commenting

The DRIM AI proposes deviation or clarification comments towards customers based on company policies or based on same or very similar requirements in the system.

DRIM Document Update and Document Compare

If the customer sends new versions of an RFQ, tender or contract, or requirements specification in general, DRIM allows to systematically run an update process.
